Current Projects from ULAR WMG

The Strathern Park North Project will collect runoff from a 485-acre drainage area and potentially capture 282 acre-feet per year. Proposed scope of work at Strathern Park would include the installation of a 1.4-acre infiltration gallery to capture stormwater from LACFCD storm drains and the surrounding neighborhood for infiltration and replenishment of the San Fernando Groundwater Basin.

The Distributed Drywell System Project encompasses a mostly residential drainage area in the City of Glendale at Highland Avenue. The project involves the installation of seventeen (17) dry wells distributed throughout the City. Upon completion, the project will serve a tributary area of approximately 57 acres.

Both North and South Valley Plaza Park Projects are designed for stormwater capture and infiltration. The sites are in North Hollywood and will include community benefits such as enhanced recreational areas, open space, and flood control.
